Yes! The SMRT Box app is completely free to download and use. You only pay for the QR Code labels.
Your photos are stored locally on your device — they never leave your phone unless you use AI tagging. Cloud backup is coming soon as an optional feature.
SMRT Box stores photos on your device like any camera app. If you're running low on space, you may need to free up storage or use fewer/smaller photos per box.
No artificial limit — you can add as many photos as your device storage allows.
Currently, your data is stored locally on your device. If you switch phones, you would need to set up your boxes again. Cloud sync is coming soon to solve this — your data will back up automatically and restore to any new device.
Each order includes QR Code labels that are color‑coded and numbered. You also get free access to the SMRT Box mobile app for iOS (Android coming soon!).
Open the app and scan the QR Code label on your box. The app recognizes the label and lets you add photos, tags, and categories.
The app works offline for most features. You can scan, take photos, and tag items without internet. Cloud sync (coming soon) will require internet for backup.
When enabled, the app suggests tags for items in your photos. You can accept, edit, or add your own tags. It's completely optional.
Yes. Your photos and data are stored securely on your device. We only collect data when you use AI features, and you can review our Privacy Policy for details.
